Karen is stable since yesterday evening. She slept well and does not appear in much pain, in fact over the last few weeks her pain level has seemed less.
The head and neck cancer continues to die off, but is leaving a devastating path of destruction behind. Her neck has been badly scarred. The cancer (or as I have referred to it lately, the "demon") is making every possible effort to stay alive and survive, thus is trying to grow elsewhere. We discovered some blockage in her airway yesterday and were told by traditional Docs that there is nothing that can be done to reverse this. I am currently negotiating with them to allow for some additional alternative treatment to be used. The biggest challenge is to get past the legal aspects attached to it, the CYA factor. It is frustrating at best, but I trust we shall get past this and all will be okay according to God's plan.
Two things that stick in my mind that Karen has said to me are:
" if I was not so stubborn, I would be dead" and "maybe all the birds are flying the wrong way".
I attribute Karen's stable condition today to all the prayers and intentions being sent her way.
Please continue and envision her surrounded in the healing light and love of God. Picture her totally healthy and breathing freely. Karen has had a very tough life; I believe she is due for a break.

Dear Patrick,
Thank you for taking time out of your attention to Karen to keep us updated with her progress. We always look for bright spots of hope like this after periods when you have asked us to concentrate our intentions.
